How to "Save an Image from the internet" at School
At home it is easy to save an image from your computer, Right Click > Save Image. However, at school things are a little crazy...
1) Find the largest image you can on the internet for your project. You can make your browers bigger, which will make your item larger, by going to VIEW>ZOOM.
2) We will take a "screen shot" of what is on the computer monitor... this is just like COPY. Press the "PRINT SCREEN" button on the top right of your keyboard.
3) Open Photoshop
4) FILE > NEW , then OK on the document size window.
5) Edit > Paste, your image will appear in Photoshop.
6) Crop the Image. Go to the tool bar on the right and choose the third tool down, it is labled the "CROP TOOL."
Click and drag over the area you want to keep. Press the ENTER key.
7) File > Save the image to your account.
8 ) Open the file in Illustrator.
9) LOCK the LAYER that your image is on.
10) Make a new Layer to draw your character on.
Hope this helps!
