Foothill's enrolled 40 students this year to compete at STATE, with 4 going to Nationals!

The final tally is in, and I'm proud to say SkillsUSA has had the privilege of serving over 304,000 high school and postsecondary/college students and their instructors this year. That number is an increase of more than 3,500 members over last year, the largest membership year on record for the organization. When we add in alumni membership, we have a grand total of over 314,000 members for the 2009-10 year!

This year the State of Nevada's chapter of SkillsUSA accomplished this...

1) Largest Leadership Conference (Henderson) in October... 235 students and teachers from 19 chapters.
2) 2010 Skills Championships... 960 students and teachers, 200 contest chairs and judges, record amount of prizes and scholarships.
3) 140 students and advisors will represent "TEAM NEVADA" at Nationals in Kansas City this June!
